Sketch section of pumping engine and pump for the 'Paris Water Works' Chaillot, France.

This sketch clearly shows the arrangement of the engine and the pump descending into the River Seine. This drawing was made in France and sent to Boulton & Watt to show how the engine would be set up.

This drawing is part of the Archives of Soho collection, held at Birmingham City Archives [Ref. MS3147/Portfolio/5/1070]
