Another engine from the important North Eastern colliery market. These drawings show a double-acting engine with a 63 inch cylinder and the elaborate arrangement of beams and rods which were used to work the pumps, including a set of links and beams known as a V-bob, which was mounted within the pump shaft. The engine was situated at Hebburn Colliery.
