The Zig Zag Bridge, Aldridge Road, Perry Barr, photographed on 5th October 1932 with the newly built Aldridge Road bridge across the River Tame alongside it. From this date the Zig-Zag Bridge, dating in its present form to 1711, was reserved for pedestrian use only.
