Ruth Handley(1899-1957)was renowned as a specialist in portrait photography. Mostly known for her photographs of actors and actresses who visited her Handsworth studio.
Her photographs are amongst those of the Handsworth Photographic Society, which is part of the Midland Counties Photographic Federation archive, held at Birmingham City Archives [Ref: MS2207]
